Built in 1862 by the notorious Jack Slade, the 1862 Virginia Dale Stage Station still stands in its original place on the historic Overland Trail. The adjacent Hurzeler House, built in 1909 by Emil Hurzeler, was used as a personal residence for those who operated the general store and post office inside the stage station.
Since 1880, this church has been a place of worship for the local ranchers. Today, there is an active congregation of people who live close to the land. The little white Church has services every Sunday at 4pm.
